Weekday Morning Prayer

We hold weekday morning prayer on the following days at two of our churches:

Guilsborough, St Etheldreda, 9.00am-9.30am, Monday and Wednesday

Spratton, St Andrew, 9.00am-9.30am, Tuesday and Thursday.

Prayer Group

This meets monthly on a Saturday in Spratton, St Andrew Church.

All are very welcome to join. Contact the group administrator for more info, details on the Contact Us page.

Book of Common Prayer

Some of the services in the Uplands Group use services taken from the Book of Common Prayer (BCP).

8.30 a.m. services are Said BCP Holy Communion.

Evening Services are sung Evening Prayer with a robed choir.

Once a month there is a sung Holy Communion at Creaton and at Guilsborough on alternate 4th Sundays.

Common Worship

Many of the services in the Uplands Group use Common Worship (CW).

These services which use contemporary language often have a choir to help lead the singing.

Worship for All

Worship for All services are relatively short services which aim to provide worship that is relaxed, accessible and understandable.

Worship for All is inclusive of children and families, but not aimed totally at children.

Taize Services

A quiet, peaceful, meditative service designed to help us relax and focus on God in quietness. It uses  repetitive chants which are easy to pick up, a psalm, a passage of Scripture, silence and simple prayers.

Taize worship is contemplative and the silence and reflection it offers compliments other service types.

Table Talk

An informal evening event at which you can sing your favourite hymns, enjoy lively discussion using TableTalk, a game of conversations between friends and have a cup of coffee or a glass of wine.
